Stanley Cup -- yet again - July 10/10

.

Even though I've touched the Stanley Cup three times already, I lined up for two hours to see it again in the FW Gardens, along with Patrick Sharp of the Chicago Black Hawks.

A guy claiming to be from the Hawks' website interviewed me (because of my retro jersey he said). When asked if this was exciting for me, I said not really because I've seen the Cup before. I also admitted to being a Leafs' fan.

Click here and scroll down to see my other appearances with the Cup. Until this year the most recent time was in the Hall of Fame on Sept. 11, 2001. Partway through the morning the place was evacuated!

Fred Eaglesmith: July 4/10

.

On the spur of the moment I joined Tim and our friend, Joanna, to go see Fred Eaglesmith at the old Finn Hall. Opening for him and accompanying him were The Fabulous Ginn Sisters. Check them out. They're fabulous!

BBQ at Kaela & Bryan's: July 3/10

We played the game Quelf which involves either doing a silly challenge or losing a point. We always do the silly challenge.

At one point, beer was spilt into my Croc. That was not a silly challenge, but that explains the pic of it drying out.

Kathleen's homemade mask was extremely impressive!!

Cambrian Players Improvers @ Marina Park: July 1/10

.
A good crowd gathered to watch us perform some of our Theatre Improv "games" as part of the Canada Day entertainment. I say a "good" crowd. There was that one volunteer from the audience who suggested "stripper pole"! I suppose we should have seen it coming since Gabe has been with Cambrian for decades!!

Before our gig I participated in Sean Jesseau's drum circle.

Most of the pix that follow are from "Little Red Riding Hood" set to themes from various movie soundtracks.

"Stripper pole!"

Can't have Improv without
a zombie or two!
