Sunday School: Nov. 27/11

B colours while K winds up the Nativity Scene music box.

K began to make a fuzzy-felt Nativity Scene
while I made one on an Etch-a-Sketch.

My Etch-a-Sketch Nativity Scene

Meanwhile, in the fuzzy-felt version, matters were getting out of hand:
Luke neglected to record the attack of the killer lions.

The lions succeeded in destroying the whole stable.
If I had a better variety of fuzzy-felt characters,
perhaps this would have been prevented by Yoda,
Iron Man or possibly even "Indy Hat".

The Urinal Game: Beginner's Version: Nov. 19/11

.

At the Thunder Bay Centre of Change. Just what are they trying to change?!

Sunday School: Nov. 20/11

K spontaneously added people and details to the symbols on the board. I think the guy outside the tomb might be a karate Lego-man, and the guy inside might be "Indy Hat".

The Xs are fingers.

"The Importance of Being Earnest" Nov. 2011

.

.

I greatly enjoyed being part of the crew (designing and running sound) of Cambrian Players' production of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest", directed by Gabe Ferrazzo.

Pictured above is the cast and crew feasting sumptuously on free snacks provided by and at Gargoyle's Bar and Ale!

The last night cast member, Meesha, took a lot of photos including this one of director Gabe Ferrazzo, yours truly at the sound computer, Chris Jason on lighting and Jay Stapleton, who also operated the lights and helped out in various ways.

On Nov. 18 Darren Foulds and Brian Jones sat right in front of the sound & lights desk. I hope that the muttered "Standing by"s did not bother them.

"Earnest" Cast & Crew at Gargoyle's: Nov. 10/11

.
Gargoyle's Grille & Bar hosted us after our "Preview" night of "The Importance of Being Earnest" (for which I did the sound). The snacks they gave us (for free!) were plenteous and delicious!

With a few Usual Suspects at the Usual Place

He is not yet 50.

And he does not really have red eyes.

That is all.
