"Influential" doesn't necessarily mean "favourite" or what I think is best. Nor does it mean that (for e.g.) I think I play guitar as well as or in the style of BB King. In many cases the album simply shaped my perception of what music (even mine) could be; it "gave me permission" to try a certain something I discovered in that album.

For six Saturday afternoons I took these classes, along with Jelena, Sheena, Jessica, Teri, and Kyara.
They were quite fun, informative, and stretching, and quite different from our Sunday night Cambrian improv sessions. There was much more emphasis on listening to our bodies (influenced by some Dance Improv Andrew had done). I think we barely spoke any words in any of our exercises for the first two weeks!
