New car; no repair bills, right?
Two days ago (the all-day rainy day) I went out to discover I had a nail in my tire. So, I put the "donut" on (in the rain, obviously).
Got the tire fixed yday. $32 (not covered by warranty). That's an average of $4.57/day (have owned it a week). That's $137/month at this current rate!
(Okay, so maybe this should really be titled "Stupid nails!")
So you bought an Elantra? I test drove one. I am thinking of getting the 5 door elantra hatchback, or maybe a Kia Spectra. (Kia Spectra is the same car as hyundai elantra, different trim, it's like Ford Tempo and Mercury Topaz, all over again).

No I bought an Accent. Joe, my mechanic likes Hyundais, but not Kias.
ReplyDeleteOther than the punctured tire, you like the car?
ReplyDeleteYes. However, just as I was taking it, the salesman mentioned that the good mileage wouldn't kick in until 4000km and so far it isn't any better than my Tempo.
