For maybe a year or two my car, when the engine was hot, had sometimes hesitated before firing. More recently, I actually had to try starting again, and so I knew something was going wrong.
Today on the way to my Mum's I stopped to drop something off at Keri's, and my car wouldn't respond at all (except that the dashboard dials etc. would respond). CAA dropped me off at my Mum's, and then towed my car to Joe's (on Gore St.).
Then I realized that the family BBQ was at my nephew's on the other side of town, not at my Mum's. So my Mum came and got me, and then drove me home.
Monday 27th Update: Joe replaced the starter today.
