I knew that Andy James was coming to town to speak at the Dorion Bible Camp Fund-Raising Banquet, but I didn't expect to see him while he was here. Since my bizarre and painful release without explanation from my job of many years at Dorion, I haven't felt welcome at their banquets.
(I did attended the 60th anniversary banquet a couple of years ago, but was uncomforable.)
So, anyway, I didn't expect that I would get a chance to see Andy while he was here. So, I greatly appreciated it when he phoned me at my office and arranged to drive through the April slushstorm to buy me lunch. Thank you, Andy -- for everything.
(We had lunch at the evil Tim Horton's that bought out the Great Northwest Coffee Co..)
