Scheduled for 11:40. Due an error by the provincial booking system, appointments had been made for the two hours that day before the doors open!! However, my Mum got jabbed only 20 min. after her scheduled time.

I thought I might have pneumonia & so went to my clinic. Got good help, and prescriptions, and this free puffer.

But I had to miss Karl Wahl's funeral, in order to protect Carla.

Because my knee went out on me in early Aug. at Manitoba Pioneer Camp, I've had to have physio. For several week this simply involved dozing on a bed while I got a buzz from this machine.

Then a muscle stimulator was added.

Required footwear at the Con College Dental Clinic, where I have three sessions of teeth-cleaning scheduled by a student. Cost: only $30!

Movies R Danger 'Us - Dec. 14/12

The second picture is how they appeared Dec. 21.

After staying to read all the credits at the end of "The Hobbit", for some reason I fell down the stairs, rolled over and barked my shins.

Fortunately, I was alone (except for the staff) and so I wasn't a bowling ball in the crowd. The staff were very attentive to my needs, and even gave me 2 free passes.

I did not do this on purpose.

In fact, the service at Silver City was very good that evening. I'd never ordered tickets on-line before & it wasn't 'til I was at the theatre that I found out I had neglected to print page two, the page with the actual bar codes I needed. So they just wrote out my ticket for me.

. And it turned out that I didn't need the 2nd ticket. They refunded it for me, and they didn't even ask me for the penny change.

Yes, they are "Progressive Lenses" which I think I've needed since 2006.

Knee Pain

Last Sunday my knee gave out on me. These x-rays were taken when I went to Emerge that day. No bone damage can be seen, but cartilage and ligaments don't show.

Today I had an appointment with the specialist and my leg is feeling much better. He has ordered an MRI to see whether the possible damage to cartilage can heal with rest or if surgery is needed. Bike riding is okay, but not hockey.

I injured my ankle early in the game and so I limped around and took pictures.

This picture was taken just as Chris and Murray had a "knee on knee" with Chris being quite seriously injured. He's the one in the dark sweater falling to the ice.

Mr. Papich and my toe

Check my May 2005 archives and search for "Papich". Last night I ran into Mr. Papich at Chapter's and it turned out that he had indeed been ego-surfing and had found his name on my blog (in the Top Ten Google results), as my favourite teacher.

I think blog-mentions shoot up to the top of Google quickly:
I received the national newsletter (& donation envelope) from CSSM yesterday and just happened to notice in a passing reference that Orval Janz, the national director resigned.

There must have been other newsletters not sent to me with more info about this. There's not much info about it on www.cssm.ca and so I Googled his name this morning and a post of mine is in the top ten.

I skimmed May 2005's archives. My toe still hurts -- off and on. The last two days have been really bad. I have a Merchant show tonight and I think it'll be okay.

Wisdom Teeth Out 1981

I can't recall exactly when this happened, but these (polaroid) photos were in with my camp pictures. I recall that my friend, Spuro, drove me there or home, and he would have been in university at the time. So possibly this was during Study Break (February?) or possibly I had the surgery during the extra days off at the end of Primary camp in the summer while he was in town.
