New Year's Eve: Dec. 31/25

.

With K, J, A & M, plus Tam, and Sean.

Snacks (I brought Bran Muffin squares, which M liked); Cards Vs Humanity; some crokinole v. K; watched some fireworks on YouTube; Tam & K played Mind Bender (Mastermind knockoff) while I counted my Dutch Blitz cards and went outside to search in vain for a missing card. We wrapped up before 2200h.

Open Mic at The Foundry: Dec. 29/25

.

It was the Bill (host), John, and Rich show. I had no theme. I don't know enough songs on one idea (except love, I guess).

Song For a Winter's Night (Lightfoot),
I'll Remember You (Dylan),
I Threw It All Away (Dylan), and
You're Going to Make Me Lonesome When You Go (Dylan).
------
Highway 61 Revisited (Dylan),
Happy Together (Bonner/Gordon),
I Will (Lennon/MCCARTNEY),
At This Moment (Vera), and
St. James Infirmary (Trad.).

Okay, I guess, except for Hwy 61, my theme was love, after all. Go figure.

Bonfire outside; brief sparkler with M; kids went to bed early; snacks and prezzies with adults in kitchen (me, K, J, T, and River). Left stockings for the kids.
