4 More Right Answerers

Rick3, Doug, E-Babe and Shroomazoom (of the fake e-ddress) should all add one point for having chosen Mr. Papich as my favourite teacher (which is correct) over Mr. Hyatt (which is not, despite what the quiz says).

Got that? The answer is Mr. Papich. Mr. Walter Papich. Mr. Walter Papich of Churchill High School, Thunder Bay. I wonder if he is ego surfing right now. Hi, Mr. Papich!

Correction

I made a mistake in setting up the quiz below. I'll tell you now that Mr. Papich was my favourite teacher. So Syl, Paul and Tim should give themselves one more right answer (giving Sylvia 100% -- She is not my girlfriend BTW).

Yep, it's a quiz!

I made a Quiz for you! Take my Quiz! and then Check out the Scoreboard!

My Toe is not Broken

I had it x-rayed yday at TBRHSC -- and I am becoming quite used to being there! -- and it's just bruised. I will tell you more about my visit there later.

So I played hockey that night. I had almost hoped that it was broken so that I could be a Bobby Baun and score the winning goal on a broken foot. Tim suggested I could be a Bill Barilko and score the winning goal and then get lost on a fishing trip.

As it was I didn't score at all, but I did successfully get the puck into the offensive zone a few times. I told Tim that for me that is scoring, sort of like Winter Green rules or gimmes.

My Toe Hurts

I had trouble sleeping last night because my foot/big toe hurts. I had to put ice on it. Strangely enough it's the foot that got slammed in Robin's truck door on Tuesday night, but it didn't hurt then. I don't think it's broken or it would be agonizing to stand on it (plus I think it would have hurt a lot sooner).

Dr. Pepper.

Another quote I just made up: "You don't get to be 'the next Beatles' by sounding like the Beatles."

My Dad has died.

My Dad died last night (that is 0100hrs this morning). My Mum and I were in the room (226 at the TBRHSC). He had been unconscious for the last day, breathing noisily and painfully. They gave him morphine for that. His breathing slowed down and my Mum and I were dozing in the room. Then she noticed that his breathing had stopped. We called the nurse and went to his side and he did take a few more very, very shallow breaths. But after a while he stopped completely and the nurse checked his heart. "He's gone." she said.
