Malik's first birthday

Playing with toys in my office after the worship service.

Once he was ready to go home, he very politely offered me my Mack truck back.

Party for Diane's 70th birthday!

Beautiful Lake Winnipeg: May 2009

.

This month Cambrian Players presented Maureen Hunter's Beautiful Lake Winnipeg directed by Jim Hobson. I didn't have a lot to do with the production this time, although I help with Front of House a couple of nights, and so earned an invitation to the Wrap Party. (We had pizza, but no wraps.) Here are pix (of the play) on the official Cambrian Players' website.

The production did feature my former Thunder Bay Christian School student (and Dorion Bible Camp camper/staff), Millie Gormley (nee Kamphof).

My LOTR art from high school days

In high school almost every art project I did was based on Tolkien. In March I attended a LOTR fan night and brought these works along with me. Here they are, for what they're worth:

Gollum

Bilbo finding the Arkenstone.

The engraving on the Ring

Gimli

Denethor awaiting Boromir's return

Boromir

The death of Boromir
