Aug.4 Highlights: Chapel, moved to #11, Boys Camp Meeting, campers arrived (rotations done during EP time). "The Magical Fish" at Songs & Stories. Songs led by Temp unless otherwise stated. All stories read by Grader.

Aug. 5 Highlights: First Holy Grail Table Talk, Bible Study prep during Boats Out, visited Music Club, first Bible Study (led songs for Int & Jr.), Royal Roll, "The King's Song" at Songs & Stories.
Aug. 6
I caught a fair-sized walleye (released it, of course):
Drove camper along with Levi M to Kenora Hospital for a tetanus shot. Back at the end of supper (chili). S & S: Sleeping Bread.

Aug. 7 Highlights: Played harmonica in "Knights of the Round Table", visited Sully's Theatre Club, led Little Cabin after lunch, EP: Flamethrowers(?), led songs in S & S, which story?
Aug. 8 Highlights: Olympics, Olympic-themed Banquet (which also functioned as EP), Bone Button Borscht, Boys Two Candlelight
Aug. 9 Highlights: Bugawump nest in playing field, Boys Two campers left, EP: Phobia, led songs for S & S, which story?.
Aug. 10 Highlights: Pike took my lure and leader (morning), pike broke hook (evening), EP: Kick the Can, led songs for S & S, The Wemiks.
Aug. 11 Highlights: Chapel (harmonica), led the Juicy Moose after lunch, led Bible Study prep, Olympics, joined in Evening Dip, The Emperor's New Clothes.

Aug. 12 Highlights: I think this was the day I led Juniors only singing & they were very enthusiastic, guitar on Sundeck with Senior Camper A..., Dido's Head-Shave, LOTR Heart of Darkness, almost had pike in net, led S & S, The Ragman.

Aug. 13 Highlights: Senior Day (after Juniors left), annual catch-up chat with Pam by Waterfront, met with Pete in Staff 1, to landing with Pete to put laundry in van, he was picking up Cindy & training Hailey, saw bear on the way there.

Changes Observed at MPC in 2024:
One thing I did NOT do this year was walk the Island Trail. I was fighting plantar faciitis in my left foot the whole time & so attempting the trail just seemed like foolishness. Maybe next year.
MPC DYI staff shirt 2024. Note that we used cardboard instead of the proper stencil paper with messy results. So I used an improv principle of leaning into "mistakes" and outlined the blobs as well.
