Today at L.U.

I hung out for a little bit at the university today. While I was waiting by the microwave in the caf for the meal ahead of mine to be nuked, I pondered that any student who might happen to notice me could easily think that I was a prof.

Then I realized that I could even be Prime Minister. Stephen Harper and I are the same age.

Or I could at least be a cabinet member, since I'm unelected.

LOL. Prime Minister Richard Pepper. Could happen. I had one of those moments last week when I took our pastors daughter(s) out with me and realized I could be the oldest one's Mom. That was not a cool revelation. I'm no longer 17...I'm now a Mom. Sigh. Not that being a Mom is bad...just old(er). How are things different at LU now then say...10 years ago??

Paula,

LU now: the students are younger. (Actually, there are more 17 year olds.)

There are more microwaves (but too small for my pizza box) and Black Mamba says that they suck. The old ones never got cleaned and so they just got replaced with these smaller, suckier ones.

There's a pizza place rather than a sub place in the caf and there's been a paint job and new chairs with Thunderwolves logos on them.

And, as far as I can tell, everyone hates the President.
