The afternoon of the Saturday of Boys Camp is taken up by the Boys Camp Challenge.
This year Father Time had enchanted the bell so that each team in turn was transported to a series of different time periods & locations. At each they had to participate in some sort of competition and try to achieve the best time (or distance or whatever).
Their ranking gave them a greater or lesser amount of money to spend at the camp store on the supplies they would need in order to cook breakfast for Father Time. The winning team was the one whose meal most pleased Father Time.
